One of my colleagues just sent me information about a security issue with Adobe Reader.
According to this post on the Adobe site (http://www.adobe.com/support/security/advisories/apsa09-01.html) there is a serious vulnerability in Acrobat Reader, the software used to open and read PDFs. Adobe is aware of it but is not planning on releasing a patch until mid-March.
My colleague suggests that you try another reader program such as Foxit Reader @ http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php
