One of my workshop partcipants Gregory Puccetti showed me this video recently. I have not yet purchased this set-up but plan to do so shortly and will write about my experience using in the near future.

Greetings!
My students and I have been using this in the classroom since last year (we also have an actual Smartboard for comparison). This year we are experimenting with various additional components and interactive capabilities within both the XP and Vista environments (attempting to integrate additional capabilities with bluetooth and wireless technologies). Our plan is to introduce this to the district in order to provide a low-cost alternative to the Smartboard so that each classroom may have access to an interactive whiteboard environment via either a stationary or mobile setup. We are pushing it through a number of scenarios and tests at this time in order to minimize the end-user headaches by first determining as many potential problems and their preemptive solutions prior to deployment. NOTE: Know that there are several ways and places to possibly reduce your overall costs on both the hardware and software side.
